Who We Are
Oilfield Nextgen was an idea originally thought of by one of the founders Brian Cook.
In November of 2019 Brian Cook and Adam Burris (co-founder) discussed this modern idea of bringing trade jobs back to the american forefront by providing opportunities and mentorship for highschool students. They both embraced the idea and strongly believe in the importance of building the infrastructure for the future of the industry.
Brian Cook
Brian was introduced to the Oil and Gas Industry by his father and grandfather at a very young age. After attending Texas A&M College in Kingsville Brian went to work for his father quickly finding out that not only was the Oil and Gas industry hard work but also it had the potential to provide a better lifestyle for him and his family. Brian has had several successful companies establishing the first one at only 24 years old. He remains in the Oil and Gas industry today providing services throughout the global industry.
Adam Burris
Adam Burris is passionate about the Oil and Gas Market because that is what he has grown up doing. Starting as a shop hand at his father’s office at eleven years old, working every summer in various rolls as he grew older and becoming full time upon graduation, Adam Burris not only has knowledge of all ranks of the business but also an appreciation for each position, starting at the bottom.
Currently, Adam Burris is an Operations Manager who works for Trident Maritime Systems. For the past nine years, he has overseen all aspects of the Oil and Gas business unit ranging from Sales to Production to Completion of Projects in various countries around the world.
Jason Arcemont
A Serial Entrepreneur, Speaker, Author, Endurance Runner and more, Jason Arcemont is undoubtedly a dynamic individual. Setting goals and crushing them seems to not only be a common quest for him but what he thrives for. He truly evokes what it is to live an “experiential life”; a principle he speaks about so often.
As the founder of several Inc. 500 companies, many in oil and gas, Jason has developed the recipe for building powerful organizations. Both in terms of revenue growth and corporate culture alike. With a combined staff of nearly 100 employees, Jason has shown that his passion for leadership is not only present but extremely effective as well.
