Training Today’s Youth For Tomorrow’s Future
Oilfield NextGen is a visionary project that facilitates the recruitment and training of the next generation of entry-level oil and gas personnel from technicians to Sr. Management levels. Designed by and for the Oil and Gas Industry, the program will mentor todays youth on their career and educational path to ensure quick advancement, proper training and safety awareness needed in the oil and gas market today and in the years to come.
For oil and gas companies, the Oilfield NextGen Project offers an upcoming generation that has been properly trained to the current standards that the oil and gas companies will require to fill existing vacancies upon the market’s rebound.
What We Do
Oilfield NextGen is working with companies in the oil and gas market to help secure, train and educate the future craft personnel, not only for the current gap in the workforce but also for the overwhelming need in the future. Oilfield NextGen works with various High School Administrators to find students who are interested in trade crafts as a possible career. Oilfield NextGen will not only supply the information about positions in the oil and gas industry through written information and lectures given by industry professionals with personal experience but will also show them a day in the life through various hands-on training seminars.
Our Mission
Today’s society constantly promotes that in order to be successful in today’s market you are required to have a minimum of a 4-year degree. Not only is a blind eye being turned to the debt that is acquired with this path but also the limited job market that graduates are exposed to once stepping out into the real world. Many graduates are not able to obtain positions in the fields that they hold degrees in which force them to find a new professional path after diligently applying themselves for the prior 4 years.
Our Classes
Oilfield NextGen provides training and guidance seminars throughout the year. Each is conducted in a manner that ensures all individuals attending have more of a one-on-one feel in place of the feeling of part of a crowd. Each person attending will not only find comfort in the stress free interactive environment while receiving up to date information and training but also in knowing that the instructor appreciates and values questions from individuals during and after seminars and training experiences.
Our Goal
Our goal is to introduce young adults to Oil and Gas types of careers that would best fit their interest and future goals.
We believe it is important to normalize that college is not for everyone and trades jobs can be truly rewarding. We want to highlight our youths’ natural talents with different hands-on experiences provided by our industry leading vendors. And help them find their true calling by speaking with our mentors.
